Frequently asked questions
Repair & Protect is designed for appliances that have already developed a fault. We arrange an initial repair and, if the appliance is successfully repaired, it will then continue to be protected under the plan for future electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
Yes. Unlike our appliance protection plans that only cover future faults, Repair & Protect is specifically designed for appliances that have already developed a problem. We will arrange an initial repair and, if successful, ongoing protection can continue afterwards.
When you first take out the plan, our approved repairer will carry out an initial inspection of your appliance to determine if it is possible to carry out an initial repair. If we determine that your appliance cannot be repaired, the plan will be cancelled and any payments you have made will be refunded. This helps ensure you are not paying for protection on an appliance that cannot be returned to working order.
If our initial repair is carried out successfully, but the appliance continues to experience issues, we may, at our discretion, offer to replace it with a new appliance of a similar technical specification, subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.
No. The Repair & Protect plan is specifically designed for appliances that already have a fault, so the initial repair can be arranged straight away once your application has been accepted.
Repair & Protect is available on a range of household appliances, including washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers, fridge freezers, ovens and other eligible domestic appliances. Availability may vary depending on the appliance and its condition.
The plan does not cover cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality, malicious damage, commercial use, faults caused by misuse, or any exclusions outlined in the terms and conditions. Please review the full plan details before purchasing.
Simply contact our team and provide details of the fault. We will assess the issue and arrange an engineer visit where appropriate. We'll keep you informed throughout the repair process.
